Hi,

I need your advices; I completely destroyed my topcap on my fox 36 talas because it was too tightened. The aluminium lips on the topcap are completely destroyed and the fork needs to be sent to FOX, which will probably need a new talas cartridge. The FIT cartridge needs some service as oil is seeping out of the compression adjusters (they are at the bottom of the fork, it's a 2010 model). So.. I either send my fork to fox and they completely restore it or I buy a new one. TBS bike parts are selling some 36 180 talas for 700$ shipped. What do you say ? I don't know how much it's going to cost me if fox repair center needs to replace the talas side and overhaul the FIT cartridge..

Thanks in advance.
