Well I don't have any experience with it with less travel, but it feels brilliant to me with the 160mm fork. It climbs really well with the Cane Creek DB air IL and I didn't lose a lot of downhill capabilities coming from a Capra.

Why did you change from Capra to Endo?
Any noticeable difference between CF and Alu?

Thanks @mdg3d. I'm around the same weight. Thinkin of throwin a coil on mine, too. Had an rc4 on a trail bike a few years back and was pleasently surprised by the way it pedaled. Do you find yourself using the climb switch at all?

I do use the climb switch, definitely helps.

Something to be said about the bold contrast with the white lettering. Black would look stealthy though.

I'm about 200 lbs as well (no gear) and have 550 on Warden. 1 turn preload on Fox DHX 5.0. Was considering getting 500, but I have too many pedal strokes already, and it feels great.
