TLD are great if you have a spare $500+ hanging around. Otherwise, go with the Remedy.

yeah a TLD can be a great helmet. they look cool, offer some of the best helmet technology, and are great if you can afford anything in the world. they are rediculously priced, some going over $500.

if you want a cheap helmet that does pretty much the same thing, get a giro remedy, or one of the 661 helmets, their cheap and offer some pretty good protection.

If I didn't have a TLD as part of my race kit, I probably wouldn't be rocking one. In all honesty, buy a helmet for how it protects your noodle and not how cool it looks. The Remedy or the Remedy CF are both excellent helmets. When I kick it with the guys, I ride with a Remedy and I have no complaints. Apparently Dainese makes some killer helmets so I have been told by a fellow mod.
