Hey guys. I know it has been ask a million time but I still can't decide on the frame size to get.

I'm 6ft1/2 and I can't decide between the large and XLarge Capra 29.
I like a playful bike that I can whip around.
I'll use this beast from everything (XC runs to DH parks) with most of my times in trails/all mountain riding..

I'm coming from a 2014 Devinci Troy with a 434 reach and scared of the big jump in reach and wheelbase.
Help me please. I'll send you a cookie if you do !

I'm 6'1 and find my XL Capra 29 playful enough to go sideways, spin, manual, etc. and that's with a coil too. I use 38mm rise bars and a 35mm stem and love the higher front end than you get on a 27.

In fact it's mostly used as a freeride bike!

I'm 5'11 and ride L 27.5. I would imagine a XL 29 for 6'1 to be best. If I was an inch taller, I'd def want XL.....I think.....

hi guys
so I'm currently in the market for a new capra. I am currently riding a 2017 cf in the large size and it feels a little small. I want to get a new 29er cf pro race but don't know if I should get a large or xl, I am about 5'11" any suggestions?

Like you, I had a 2016 Large Capra...I now have a 2018 XL Capra and couldn't be happier with the increased length. I say size up to the XL!

Just taken delivery of a new Capra AL 29er and while it hasn't left the streets yet it's seriously impressive thus far (and an excellent packaging job by YT as well). Ordered a Large (I'm bang on 6ft/183cm) and the first thing I noticed was the shortish reach which saw me pushing the saddle all the way back. I think for the type of riding I'll be doing the frame is the right size, but if I was any taller I'd be looking at the XL for sure.

Does anyone have a simple method to get the rubber plugs that work as frame protection at the cable ports near the stem into the frame holes? 2 of the 3 plugs were out and I can't seem to squeeze them back in...

Has anyone fully removed the shaft in the pivot right by the crankset? I can't seem to get the shaft fully out. I have a 2018 Capra Al 27.5

Try coating them in a drop of washing up liquid.

Some photos from this past weekend on my XL Capra 29. I actually find whips nicer to do on a bigger bike with more bike to throw around!

Just wondered cause I know some of you are having or have had problems with the Race Face BB on the 2018 capra. I have a brand new e13 BB and crankset from the 2019 model for sale at £100. E13 dropper at £100 too. Already had spares so check my for sale stuff and PM me. Really need to get rid before I go to morzine. Hence the stupidly low prices.

Now that's what I like seeing people doing with their Capras.

Does anyone knows the length of the flip chip?

I am wondering if the capra 29 would work with an older capra shock (222x65)

Good evening fellow Capra owners! Has anyone in here gone from the 2016/17 Capra AL series in XL to the newer 29er in XXL?
