Question for the v3 owners out there, has anyone thought about converting it to 27.5? If so how did it go?

My thoughts are with the adjustable wheels base fitting a 27.5 wheel in the back wouldn't really be a problem.

Anyone any thoughts?

Hi guys, I've received my new supreme v4.2, the question is: Do I have to make myself a lower leg service before riding? The fork is RS Boxxer RC, service is pretty simple, but I don't want to spend my time not riding it.
Thanks! Smile

Yes it is possible, you wiil still have about 2 cm of mud clearing with 27.5x2.4 tires

What weight in Kg are your 4.2 Supremes coming in at?

my dhv4 Medium size seems to be a little small (I'm 182cm) even if I like small bikes (always riding M size) I have to admit this one (2016) is really small..
That's why I was wondering if there are some headset spacers to increase the reach such as we see in wc, I don't want to increase my fork angle, just the reach! I have the original headset.
Thank's you

Commencal is still supposed to release cups that allow you to adjust the reach, but that was announced 3 years ago and still isn't available (even for the DH WC teams ...)

You can put a 60mm DM stem (the old Truvativ Hussefelt existed in 60mm), and get wider bars, that could help with the position on the bike, but I'm afraid the frame is just way too small.

I'm 1.85, bought a DH V4 in Large, sold it at the end of the season, because it was just way too short. Bought a DH V4.2 in Large, it was a bit longer but just not enough. Should have gone for the XL. Sold it after a season again, and now on a custom sized MDE, at 470 of reach and it's perfect (until I try something else that is, but I'm in no hurry for that Smile )

Hi,
i have a question for all the supreme DH V4.2 owners.
Are the decals on the frame removable or are they painted on/ under the paint?

Also has someone ridden both the old version with the 267mm/89mm shock length and the new one with the 250mm/75mm shock? Any noticeable differences between the two?

I´d appreciate any help! Salute

I’m 1.78 and was going to go for the xl 2019 which has a reach of 480mm although chart recommends large. Only thing confusing me is my current dh bike has 470 and I could use a bit longer reach but my Meta V4 in large says its 448 but feels huge...so do I go L or XL? Tough call and bit of a gamble!

So, how much of a problem are the brake hoses rubbing, with the hose exits on the upper side of the toptube on the 2017 models? It has been changed for 2018+ but i was wondering if it´s worth it to go for a newer model to avoid damage to the frame, or is this a non issue?
I heard some guys say it was causing problems.
Or is there any easy remedy to solve the problem?

I just got my supreme and it's a Med, I'm short but heavy and not sure where to start? I'm 220lb but will drop 10-20 before season starts. Might try a 550 to start. Any suggestions?
