Just after some help please with a question no one seems able to answer. Roughly how many chain links do I need for a 2022 XL Mullet Supreme V4. I'm running a 36T chainring, 11-28 cassette. I run Shimano and stock chains are 116, so will I need to add more links?

Not sure, but you could try one full chain and just buy another if it's too short?

Anyone order a v5 and get it yet? I am just patiently waiting for that ship notice while I look at all the upgrade parts I have ready for it.

Hi, just ordered a v4 essentials edition. A bit worried about all the cracking posts . But anyway hopefully it’ll be a great bike. Has anybody any advice for starting settings for the boxer select and super deluxe select. I have a high pivot trail bike (dreadnought) but it has a progressive leverage and requires a fair bit of sag, I see in reviews that commencal recommend very little sag but I am no French World Cup star.

I got my frame a while ago. I’ve seen a few in California.

Well here's my V4 finally build up for the new season. Waiting list for a V5 was too long and I got this for a bargain.

It's an XL mullet, full Ohlins, Shimano Saint/XTR, custom built DT Swiss EX471's on 240 hubs (bladed spokes), Thomson bars/stem/seatpost, Schwalbe tyres.

https://www.tftuned.com/spring-calculator

That calculator is a good place to start.

good afternoon, I used this calculator and a few more, just after reading the whole thread, I saw how people with a weight of 80 kg use 400 lbs, and with my weight it shows 400 somewhere, 450 somewhere, so the question arose, someone might be riding with a similar weight and can share the experience

It's not a great calc for Supremes as they are designed to run less sag than other frames (around 17-23%). You'd be better measuring the sag yourself.

To give you some idea I'm just under 80kg and currently running a 502 (around 20% sag) on a Supreme V4 with an Ohlins TTX22M.2 shock, but intend on getting a 525 soon.

now I have an rs kage rc and a 325lbs (325 x 3.5) spring on it and a sag of about 31%, but it feels like I'm in the abyss

If you weight 250lb, I’d suggest starting with 550 spring. Might need a 575lb to get it perfect.

I was using a 450lb and weighed 180lb

I was told by commencal that xl is not ment to be a mullet?!

They definitely made v4 xl mullets...

Hello,
I would like to ask, maybe someone has done it.
Can we convert full 29" model from 2020 v4.4 to a mullet? maybe with links from mullet bike?
I know that rear wheel will fit in frame, but is it possible to do it correctly?

Thank you.
