but getting away from me and back to the bike, what are your thoughts, ive never heard much about his bikes and how they ride ect.. and to top it off 1200 for a ht frame sounds like a fair bit, for that much i could probably get a slope frame

I think they come with custom geo. 1 off frames. honestly If I ever stumbled upon a bunch of cash to spend I might get one. I love dirtjumps Big Grin so would love a top of the line carbon frame.... if money wasnt an issue

if it was a 400$ carbon frame weighing 4lbs for dj I might be more skeptic.

edit: maybe, I know for a fact I like steel dj bikes I may not like the rigid feeling of CF

What is the standard for points of engagement on dirt jump hubs?

Would appreciate a range that I should aim for!
Thanks so much!!!

Omg this was my fave thread, so glad it's back.

The NS hubs are around 36, Hope's SS/Trials hub is 88, Hadley and King are 72, i9 is 120 and Profile is 208. Dartmoor does 72 and102 o some of their hubs. I find it's diminishing returns past 72. If you want a driver hub I'm not sure which is the best, but I find Hadley to be pretty excellent for shortened HG-body hubs.

Profile Elite is 208, Profile Mini is 48, just for clarification sake. I'd say anything over 48 is gravy. Most bmx hubs run 28-36 and they feel rad.

As CR said, anything over 72 just starts to become a blur.
