My decals from slik arrived today, all fitted and I thinks she's looking on point! Also won a fabric scoop saddle on eBay earlier with the blue underside to finish her off, only cost £25, ideal! Really wanted one of the ergon saddles but the blue one is £75 and the ltd edition yellow one I can't find for less than a ton! No thanks!

If I'm being picky the next think would be a stealth seat post, but as mine works and the cable is a fixed point affair I don't think I can see that happening for a while now.

Sweet! I look forward to seeing the pics.

That's my build up with the parts I had on my capra. Not a carbon ..I couldn't afford the extra grand. Looking forward to seeing what it's like compared to the capra. Difference in seat tube length is the most noticeable. Patrol is a fair bit shorter which I like a lot. I've also put a 31 mm length Renthal stem on it which looks and feels awesome. Weight is about the same as the capra around 31 lbs but not weighed it yet.
Feedback asap ! I can't seem to get on with the Capra since i've been riding the Scout, it's too wallowey

Will do buddy.
Love the sound of the scout

I think the yellow is actually growing on me.
Any UK shops doing good deals on upgrading to the Fox X2 shock on frame only (or frame and fork bundles)?

The Bike Rack in dublin did it for me, and with the exchange rate it was a bargain. Check out their Facebook page!

If you don't have your sites set on an expensive brand, there are lots of really great lower cost ones out there.

Actually really pleased with the Fabric Scoop saddle i picked up from eBay (£25), wasn't my first choice but its extremely comfy and fits the scheme well i think.

I'm curious as to why so many people seem intent on ditching the RS rear shock as a priority?

Are they really that bad?

Does anyone know if you can take the decals from the top tube and side's? Just leaving the Transition logo??
