Doesnt really look like a crack to me but it does look strange. I wouldnt worry about it. It's on the bottom of the mount and there is plenty of meat there. You'll be fine

I would assume we’ll know before Sea Otter, I have zero insider knowledge, but I’d bet heavily on that.

It depends on which wheelset I have on, and what tires. DH casings are my preference. I will do a comparison and get back to you.

Sorry it took so long to get back to you on this question, I weighted it today with the Hope wheels and the Michelins ( I do have a tube with some sealant in the front right now ), it came in at 15.7 kg thats 34,6 pounds. With full DH casings from Schwalbe it goes to 36 lbs.
