awsome, yeah that was my first thought. Any idea of the part number?

is it this one: https://www.tritoncycles.co.uk/components-c9/hub-spares-skewers-c122/rapid-drive-108-freehub-body-p18630/s55892?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=bontrager-rapid-drive-108-freehub-body-option-sram-xd-option-sram-xd-552411&utm_campaign=product%2Blisting%2Bads&cid=GBP&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI5_e2u8mb4QIVFITICh12YAn5EAkYBiABEgKk7_D_BwE

Yes, that's it, but it doesn't come with the pawls and springs.

Right now you have 54 POE - you need to buy an extra set of pawls and an extra set of springs - install is super easy.

And you're golden. As long as your rim isn't dented to heck, like my wheels get; it's worth doing.

thanks for the info. So i tried this and the freehub on it doesn't fit any extra pawls, this is a picture of the freehub:

that's why i'm thinking I need a new freehub as can't fit any extra pawls in there. Also the pawls don't use individual springs, they have one metal clip that goes around all of them

Yea you need a new freehub. The new ones look a little different. They come with three pawls but there are three empty spaces for more pawls

Yup - sorry - bad news.

I don't think 108 POE is the be all end all honestly. It's nice to have and the hub makes a sweet sound, and if it's cheap why not?

The freehub linked above probably isn't going to work for you either...

If your driver is toast:

Buy new line comp 30 - 130 gbp and get a XD driver from the same place and see if they will do a deal on it, or check the BuynSell. I converted my wheels back to Shimano so i could run cheap cassettes, so there may be some options out there for you.

It's not going to be a sub 100 pound sweet wheel upgrade thought, more like double that by the time you're done.

okay thanks, so you don't reckon i could slot the 108 freehub into the current hub? If it's new wheel territory i'm gonna build something different up.

You will not be able to upgrade that hub. It is an older design. You are in new wheel territory. Sorry. BUT new wheels are always awesome.

i know, it's not cheap. however, it does actually make a difference and feels a lot more balanced and predictable. i found it boosted my confidence, a lot more knowing how the bike would react.
that and i think it looks sick.

Coil very subjective, has its place and fans but not me awful pedal performance sits to deep in travel.
