So I guess that's it for the carbon models too eh? Seeing as they are out on the Oz sight. Im sure we are missing their "fun" colour for this year but spec and geo is there....

hi all.
does anyone have experience with fitting a >150mm dropper in a 21.5 frame? thinking of a oneup or highline but want to slam it in for clearance purposes

OneUp 170mm can be slammed in a 21.5 Slash

Thank you!

Same color 9.8 and 9.9. Seems risky given there’s a $4000 price jump! Anyways the 2020 9.8 comes sub 30lbs from the factory. It’s sitting at 29.7lbs

I'm sure they will launch a fun colour soon too. Gotta get stuff out for the Oz market because it's about to be hot bike season for them.

Quite a bit of a weight difference there between mine and the new one, mines 33lbs 3 oz but then again its got a coil, heavy tires, and cush core.

Same weight as last year (maybe .1 lb lighter). Keep in mind the cost is in Australian dollars on that site, not US. I suspect prices will be nearly identical to last year

What do you mean by "sitting proud"? I am happy to measure whatever, Not exactly sure what you're looking for lol

Sorry, the distance from the top of the seatube, to the bottom of the collar on the seatpost. Effectively how much further down could it be pushed down if it didn't get blocked at the bottom end. I measure my Bontrager post at 32mm.
Cheers

I like the look of the cobra blood bike - i wonder how far away that is for us?

Oh ok. Off the top of my head that difference is minimal (not where I can measure right now)

Oneup's spec sheet has been dead-on accurate though. https://www.oneupcomponents.com/collections/dropper-posts/products/dropper-post-v2?variant=19543531028577

Yeah, don't get rid of that, that color is so rad! I bought a 2018 for an insane and ended up with the orange and black. I wish I wouldve got the 2019 with the miami volt, but considering I got a 9.8 for $3600 brand new, I would have been stupid to spend that much more just for the color. haha
