I doubt youd get much more than a 2.4 in the back

2.4 is widest I run. More then that has no mud clearance and depending the tire. Some flex enough to rub chain stays

I've got 2.4 Xr4 on my 2016 and there is plenty of clearance as they are on the stock rims so I don't get as wide of a profile on the outer knobbies as I would on a more up to date rim width.

Hey everybody. I have a simple question, can I fit a 2020 Fox DHX2 on the 2016 Slash 9.9 frame? I'm 260lbs and the Monarch plus Rct3 is definitely at its limit. Thanks!

With some custom bushings, yes

my slash 7 used shock size in inches instead of metric like most. I ordered custom bushings from offsetbushings.com and change my shock to a fox with an sls spring.
new fox on trek with custom bushings

Nothing special. Just make sure the axle is 192mm x 1.75 thread.

Looking for a 210x60mm shock for my Slash, looking to pick up a takeoff shock cheap. If I'm gonna put out a pile of cash I'll just do offset bushings and a 8.5 shock. If anyone has one they would like to part with please message me. Mod's if this is against policy feel free to delete it but these shocks are a PITA to find.

Might as well ask what offset bushings you've used to fit which shocks right away? 8.5 shocks are way easier to find at this point.

What year Slash do you have? The 2017 and newer takes a 230x60 which are not too hard to find.

It's a 2106 and takes a 210x60mm not a 230x60mm shock. I actually listed the size in the first sentence.

No one has ever made a typo. That's why I asked for year, most of the Slash's talked about here are 2017 and newer.
