I went with a cane creek db air/cs. Very happy with it.

Kind of a stupid question...
What kind of shocks can you fit to a Enduro Evo '12? At the time you were stuck with the X-Fusion that it came with or the Fox shock that came on the Evo Expert.
Has anything changed or am I still stuck with the same shock?

Cheers!! Any idea about the main difference about the two shocks?

I have a Monarch rc3 with autosag on my 2014 enduro comp 26". It is a great shock that rides well and has great mid travel support. I find it plusher then the stock fox evo that came on it. One thing to remember is that on the 2014 enduro the shock stroke is 57mm and the Monarch rc3 that is said to fit the Enduro 26 is 64mm. This gives the Enduro 180mm of travel. I have checked clearances and found no issues. If you want stock travel on your enduro, make sure you get the 57mm stroke version.

I've measured my shock stroke at exactly 61mm which gives 176mm of rear wheel travel and has no clearance problems.

Shock and bike are both 2014. Shock is the Monarch Rc3 plus. And the bike is a standard non-evo.

Not sure what the compatiblity is between the evo and the non-evo sorry.

yeah that would be my guess too.

There is a possibility that the yoke would not need to be changed I suppose. If the bikes have the same chainstay length and bottom braket height then why would specialised bother having a different yoke? In that case only factor would be the shock length. The comp uses a "216" length shock. I can't see the enduro evo using a different front triangle and I don't think a 240mm long coil shock would fit into the small size frames.

Could be all wrong of course.

One of these bikes with a Monarch and a fox 36 at 170 would be fantastic though! I definately wouldnt run the stock coil fork with a Monarch on the rear though. Much different levels of support.

I've Read that the Rock Shox Monarch Plus debonair for 26" Specialized Enduro (2013-2014) is the 216x63/ 8.5x2.5. Is it the correct One?
