I just picked up a 2014 intense tracer 275 with the foundation package a couple months ago. Its a great bike and lots of fun. Only issue I have with it is the avid db-3 brakes... after a few rides they went soft on me so I had them bled and they were good but after one ride they went soft again. Anyone else have this issue also? recommendations?

Warranty them if the bike was new. Back to the shop for them to sort..

Mine came with way too much lever travel but instead of bleeding them I took the rotors out and pumped the brakes until the pistons moved outward. Then I spread the pistons until there was just enough clearance to fit the rotor between them. After this my lever feel is super solid.

It's possible you didn't bleed them very well the first time, but what's more likely is there is a leak somewhere. Try to bleed them again and see if the problem persists. If it does, do what I'm doing and just buy some Deore brakes for 90 bucks.
