What d'you mean 'right tune'? You mean correct HSC/LSC & HSR/LSR settings (clicks)?

In no Pro on suspension set up. When I bought my shock and had it fitted mojo suspension arranged the shim stack internally on the shock to complement the way in which the reign frame works. From what I understand one shock does not fit all bikes just by adjusting a few settings. Speak to a local suspension expert they will explain how it works better.

I can guarantee you a 300lb spring would be awful.

15' gen Reign has high leverage ratio which doesn't work well with coil. It requires high compression tune to avoid bottoming out, so I had my shock revalved (DVO Jade). Seems it was fixed in 2018 gen model.
It's could also be difficult to find a spring to reach proper sag - even 25lbs increment can change things significantly. I end up with 475 spring for my 80kg kitted.

Great suspension performance upgrade though.

Hey guys, Ive got a '19 reign that came with a 10 speed drivetrain. I want to upgrade to 11 or 12 speed but Im wondering if Id need a new freehub / BB to do so?

No, Sram NX Eagle cassette or Sunrace 12 speed will fit that hub. 11 speed has a few more options, just make sure whatever you get is for the HG driver and not the Xd.

Awesome, thanks for the info. Do you know if NX eagle will work with a direct mount derailleur hanger?

Sram doesn't do any direct mount that I'm aware of. You could get a new hanger for a regular mount.

12speed on a reign is not uncommon just get the hanger from giant.

Can someone please tell me what is max size tire width on a 2018 Reign. I'm guessing it would take me all day to find out if I read entire thread..maybe longer lol. Thanks in advance

I'm running a 2.5 maxxis aggressor WT on 30mm internal rim and it has a little space before it rubs so I would say no wider than 2.6.

Depends entirely on the manufacturer's casing width accuracy.

You can basically pick anything up to 2.5, but above that the Spaz is the only 2.6 I've seen actually fit and clear. That tyre is slightly larger than a 2.5WT Minion and a 2.35 Mary. I'm not sure if the 2.6 Maxxis tyres will fit.

Yes, I have a few hairline crack at the same spot! Should be covered under warranty.

Did warranty cover this? if so was it part of the lifetime frame warranty? I have the same cracks on mine.

Nooo, not that frame. That was the best looking livery they ever made. New frame will be some boring appeal to the masses colorway, and boost so you'll need to space the hub out.

Nearly five years of hammering on an Enduro bike before getting a hairline crack is pretty decent though eh?

Giant is crazy to offer lifetime on the super light frames they make.

I was in my local LBS the other day having them look over my frame, they found nothing but assured me that if something came up Giant warranty was no problem to deal with in their experience.
