Bike is coming along, slowly, but surely.

I really like what you did with it. Orange wouldn't be my first pick (even as a Dutch guy), but it fits the bike well. Would a orange chainring and headset match better....?
Are those 180mm discs? How does the short stem work with this old school frame?

Kinda envious, your side bike is in a better shape than my main bike.

Thanks for the comments Benjamin, those are 180mm discs.

Brakes have been installed and tuned along with rear shifter, still needs tuning.

Isn't that front brake adapter upside-down?
Those Slx rotors look awesome.

-edit- I could be wrong, I always thought that the text on those are on the outside, like the rear adapter is too.

After you pointed it out and I looked at the photo it does look upside down, I had to double check to make sure, it's the right way, arrow on the adapter is pointing up.

Grips and pedals have been installed, pedals a little dirty from the first ride.

Lovin' the project! Keep us posted!

My only issue with the Klein rebuild was a lack of front rings - and after a while, I realized it wasn't really an issue, At some point, you're GOING to be disappointed with the availability of speed - but if you can hold it all things in check, it'll be fine. The old, wonderful rebuilds aren't meant to be performers - just an casual appreciation of things that still work like they should. Enjoy!
