I have been designing some 3D bike parts. Just small things like top caps and such but I was wondering whether 3D printing these in metal would make them strong enough to run and just whether this is overall possible.

I seriously doubt they would be strong enough for riding. 3D printing is advancing quickly though, I'd certainly expect to see the technology in the next 5-10 years. We already have printable guns even things like printable genomes are only a few years away.

Your idea sounds good, but I am not sure if this printed bike parts will be strong enough for riding. By the way, I have a printing shop that is well equipped with good technique, like printers, cartridges and all I need for printing that I usually buy on https://www.mrdepot.ca and recently I bought a 3d printer. I haven’t used it before but I can try to print something on it and I will tell you how resistant it is.
