Just upgraded my wheelset to the I9's Enduro Torch. Was able to weigh and measure the Giant P-AM2 wheelset and thought someone might find this helpful:

Rear- 1160 grams
Front- 930 grams

Total Set- 2090 grams

Inner Width 24mm

exactly what i was looking for, thank you! any chance you know who makes these hubs? are they just DT swiss 350?

edit: figured it out, some use DTS 350 rear hubs, unless it's not noted on the spec page, then it uses a formula giant branded hub

Not sure on the hubs but know they are DT Swiss.

you mean the rims are DT Swiss? apparently the "giant performance tracker" hubs are made by Formula and rebranded as giant

O+

Nope, Giant labeled Formula hubs.

According to the spec sheet and my friend who works for Giant, they are rebranded DT Swiss.

Not on the P-AM2 wheelset, they are Formula hubs. P-XCR, P-TR and P-TRX wheelsets are relabled DT Swiss hubs. I don't think DT Swiss is selling non-star ratchet hubs to OEM.

Anyone knows the rim weight ?

Posted: Jan 27, 2016 at 15:34 Quote
I haven't weighed the rims myself, but I remembered seeing this post awhile back where someone claimed the rims were about 490 grams. Really not bad, I was thinking of upgrading, but with that weight I am going to ride mine until they (or the hubs die) before I replace them. After a year of flogging (a couple races, a few bike park days, and a lot of trail riding) mine have been awesome, no tubeless issues at all.

Has anyone weighted the new 2017 p-am2 wheelset? the rim are both 27 mm wide
I'm wondering about an upgrade with hope hub and stan mk3 flow/arch rims or dt swiss ex 511/471 and nedd a comparison to see if it worth the money
