Just built up a 2022 Instinct frameset, will be swapping on the Altitude shock mount and the X2 soon, waiting on the shock bearing kit. Was on a 2022 S-Works Stumpjumper Evo (for sale), wanting something different. I think I found it! The fit and finish of this frame is just bonkers.

Great looking custom build, looks like it’ll handle anything you throw at it!
eeWings are the one thing I wish I could have swapped to my powerplay from a different bike, there is no compatible Spider bearing for SRAM bolt cranks, which SUCKS!

Yeah I'm running eeWings on both of my current bikes. Stupid expensive but they're virtually indestructible. I've taken so many rock and pedal strikes with them with literally no scarring. If I would've been on carbon cranks those would have shattered by now.... which happened on some E13 trail cranks two years ago.
A ruined set and a new set of carbon cranks will cost you the same amount as one set of eeWings!

Installed my Altitude upper shock mount and Fox X2 on today (Instinct and Altitude frames are exactly the same for 2022 sans the upper shock mounts which are a direct swap). So in essence, the Instinct is now an Altitude. Badass!

Defaulted to the Fox manuals compression and rebound at my air pressure for sag and it feels phenomenal! Feels better than Float X, definitely more damped, but just as much pop. So right now its 160/160 travel. Got Ride-9 in the progressive-slack setting. That was a bit fiddly, but I got it done. lol

This bike is so balanced!

Lol, Codes are great in my area, never had them fade. I chock it up to the TRP rotors, the alloy they use works incredibly well with Sram metallic pads. I absolutely despise Sram and Shimano rotors, they glaze and warp.

Hell yeah! Don't forget about The Bleeding Edge. That system works flawless. Perfect bleeds every stinking time. I do NOT miss the mineral oil messes.

Absolutely love my Slayer and can't believe how well it handles pretty much everything. Haven't done too much else (swapped to a 220mm rotor up front, Assegai/DHR II combo, different grips). Next upgrade will be some WAO wheels laced to polished Profile Elite hubs, but that'll be an off season upgrade.

Slayer's just look incredible. One of the best frame designs i've seen, simple and burly

The older Slayer SS were the bomb!

Had a Slayer from bitd with original 36s

Mint ride though sluggish with super tacky tyres lol

I agree, I was a nats ass away from buying one of those back in the day. I went with a Kona Process 153 instead
