They were, since Manitou was dropping off the face of the earth they dropped all of thier sponsorship with the major pro riders. After Hayes and the start of development the Intense teams were pretty well the only ones on them, Team CRC being the biggest. Of course they had other riders on them, just not as well known riders.

I just got an air sprung TPC Minute in the mail today, it's such a nice, light plush fork. I could only imagine how nice this Dorado rides.
If I were to buy a new dual crown fork, I would get a Dorado, I beleive that they are worth the extra money.
then whats so good about them? and don't just search Google. nobody has really even ridden them anyway. most of the people on here saying that they are awesome don't even have a clue about anything.

Dunno, just want to try them, I never said I was getting them. I've tryed most dual crown forks (Boxxers, 40s, Travises, Foes) and I want to try Dorados, is there anything wrong with that? Plus they have a 3 year warrenty.
am i the only one who finds the Dorodo ugly as hell?
Yeah, I think so.
ah, good to know.
I mean though, compared to the new Boxxer, which is gorgeous, and the new white Fox 40 the Dorodo looks like it got its sticker job by some guy stuck in the 80's.
