On a different note, has anyone tried a Megneg on their Scout? I’ve been through the old comments and seen a few people discuss it but haven’t seen any real-world reviews.
I have 30% sag and 3.5 tokens. I’ve settled on this as the feel I like but still bottom out the shock far too easily. I’ve tried more air but didn’t get on with that. Anyone tried one?

Has anyone tried 170 front on the current Scout? I've seen people do it on the Sentinel, which has almost identical geo when both are set up 150/160... Just wondering if the front wheel would be too vague from the HTA slackening even more..?

I'm running my V3 with a 170mm Fox 38 front and 150mm X2 rear. Moves it just tiny bit closer towards being a mini-enduro bike but didn't loose its playfulness, still climbs just aswell, and feels even more capable bike for S2S (vs the stock 150/140). Different bike to the OG Scout, but is very fun

Sick Bike. See below for my stock large GX. Does anyone know of anywhere online that has a 150mm Coil Shock in stock that would fit the scout? Looking to bump up my travel if I end up keeping it

Just threw a cascade link on my v2 scout. What are you all thinking about making the fork 160. Making the bike 160/140

I've got a 205x60 on mine, making the rear travel 145mm before the Cascade link. I had already put a 160mm 36 on. The Cascade link adds 15mm of travel, meaning mine is now 160/160, so keep that in mind. I love it, rides amazing.

What fork or your running? I was looking at the marzocchi coil. Think I might try to pick one up.

Any updates on the 2020 scouts with the cascade link?

2019 Scout Alloy mullet with Cascade link.

Rides great! I can't say I can tell the difference between stock link and Cascade. I put them side by side and the Cascade is definitely longer from bearing to bearing.

Bumped my 2020 Scout from 160 front travel to 170. Was thinking I’d get the cascade after and build a Scatrol. Can’t say I’d recommend 170 on the scout. Gain a little bit on the tech and straits but front wheel is all over the map. 170mm lyrik with the back on coil at 150mm for reference.

I tried it at 160mm and thought that was too much. I have gone back to 150/140 f/r and with the ext storia, is more than capable for anything except the really chunky stuff....

I did 170 up front with CC link out back and felt like the front end was too high as well. Back on 150/150 setup. Might try 165/155 with cc link in future.
