It's an XL. I struggled between ordering blue and black based on the website colours, then I found pics online and ordered the blue without hesitation.

Is that the L or XL ? The blue is beaut.

Nice, yeah the blue is very hot in person.... right after I chose the black the green popped up... i bet the green is really nice in person too.

It is the coolest paint. I went stealth with black decals. I've only had one ride on it but my first impressions are pretty great. Fun bike for sure. Rode some North Shore trails... don't want to do much of a review yet as the new bike glasses were on.... all I know is it was a ton of fun.

Beauty! I just got a rootdown and now I want another bike. This forum is dangerous.

2 rides in on Arcturian 29+

1) Smooths everything out
2) Carries speed incredibly well
3) Berms are going to require some adjustments from me.
4) An absolute blast. Tons of Fun.
5) Not a ton of overlap with my Surface Ti
6) Did I say tons of fun?

nice.... I cant believe how much I'm digging the rootdown either.... what a bike. 14th hardtail frame in half as many years and I'm pushing myself harder than I have on any of them. beast.

Just finished building my Rootdown. Will have my first proper ride on it tomorrow so pics and first impressions coming soon. As far as first first impressions, wow this thing is a rolling tank. Can't wait to point it downhill and eat up the trails. Mine was shipped with a Minion DHF DH Casing so the front end is pretty heavy. No pain no gain on them climbs though! I maty switch it out but I'm gonna put a few rides on em first. Stoked!

Anyone try a 29 x 2.6 Maxxis Rekon on a Surface Ti or similar? Curious about clearance.

Hey all! I’ve been riding my 2019 hardtail exclusively for 6 months. Absolute shredder of a bike. Can’t speak highly enough about this bike and my particular build. Here’s a couple pics!

Basics are:
Bomber Z1 160mm
Oneup dropper
GX eagle

If you’d like any spec in particular, let me know!
