Check out my new Rig!

After trying to get the SE Dj Flyer (they were out of stock until April) i decided to get the P1...

i managed to shave off 2 Lb's off it.... the P1 now weighs 31LB's...

well what i meant by stock was the Wheel set, cranks, fork etc.

i just replaced tires, bars stem, Saddle and removed front brake... that's all.

these parts i had laying around in my house, so i put them to good use!

I meant how is the bike stock, like how good is it stock, when you get it brand new? Big Grin

because I'm either going to keep saving up for a used bike that has a bunch of upgrades parts or I could buy a 2008 soecialized P1. but I've heard the cranks come loose eventually and the wheels suck? that was on the 2007 I heard though.

just wondering

i'm eventually changing the cranks and wheel set, but not right now, i'll deal with that when the problems arise...

but the biek is awesome... i'm definitely enjoying it!

For the P1, I'd go with a lighter set of tires, and change the fork, not a fan of marzocchi, never liked the way they felt. The sinister is awesome though, a real DH machine. I can't wait for summer so I can see more of your awesome photos.

im not rich and the 2008 DJ fork won't be as bad as the RST fork on the bike I have now so theres no need to upgrade it. would replace wheels though

$800 plus taxes..... would be cheap if it wasn't for the taxesMadder

i got the P1 at cost, so i only spent 550.00US!

The Sinister is my main Rig, i cannot wait to go riding this summer and shoot some awesome pics...

i will be shooting US Open of mountain biking as well, so i cannot wait!

a couple of more months!
