I'm a relative newcomer to mtb but there's trails in the hills at mundaring and Kalamunda , also dwellingup and a few good ones around collie where I live , goggle is your friend , hope this helps

Yeah Kalamunda is good, mundaring is more downhill, goat farm etc. yeah just google it you'll find them all.

Nannup which is about 3 and a half hours south is really fun and welly mills, Albany which is further but I'd just stick to Kalamunda and goat farm at the moment.

Cheers, Tom

I'm heading to Perth and Albany very soon from the UK. Can anyone recommend bike hire in both places? Ideally decent quality full suspension bikes. Thanks.

Have found a list of trails here - http://trailswa.com.au/trails/trail-types/mountain-bike/

Anyone recommend anything in particular?

Middle Earth down in Margs was a nice ride. Long but good. Also the Pines. Few hours from Perth but well worth it. Area is superb. Food and booze is amazing. Back around Perth, Mt Gunjin/Kalamunga is so easy to hit almost daily and has some nice features. Jarradale also good. Like 30 mins away.
