Just took delivery of a Hawk Hill 1. Just un-boxed and not looking too trail worthy....yet!
Adding/removing some bits and have to spend some time setting up
the suspension so it should be done by the end of the week.

Here is my 2017 Hawk Hill. I am truly enjoying this bike. Although I have upgrade issues and have been upgrading the crap out of this thing. I will be putting a gx eagle drive train with x01 eagle cassette on it over the weekend. E13 carbon cranks will follow. That should put it just under 30lbs.

My 2017 Marin Hawk Hill.
Upgraded wheelset to Mavic Crossmax Elite. Suspension is now Fox 34 factory. Really starting to get dialed, just need a dropper post now and probably the rear shock because I have to run way too much pressure to not bottom out. If anyone has a suggestion for the shock, Im all ears.

Remember the old 1993 Marin FRS frame. Had a Manitou fork as seatstays

Yeah, I remember those, as I have one that still gets trail time.

Marin Pine FRS

Wash the fleet day.
Fleet wash day.....

The only pics I could find right now.
My Marin Pine FRS.

Rather maintenance intensive, gotta make your own spares today, as most spares have been obsolete for decades, but good fun.

Swapped the 130mm Revelation for a 160mm Lyrik

Here is my San Quentin 3...

Upgraded a few bits, plan on swapping on a Saint Crank in the coming weeks, that should round it out nicely...

-Hope Pro4 Hubs
-SLX Brakes
-XT Rotors
-Deity CZ38 Bars
-Deity Copperhead Stem
-Deity Black Kat Pedals
-Deity Speedtrap seat
-Sensus Grips
-160mm Rockshox Lyrik

Looking forward to taking it to a few local lift served parks this season. We will see how she holds up! Or how I hold up...Big Grin

nice, been wanting one for a while now. Hope to see a ride report once you get some seat time on it.

Dude the thing rips. I've owned it since September or October. Put quite a few miles on it on my local trails. Few jump and pump lines and it feels great in the air. The only issue I *had* was pedal strikes. The low BB height and probably my lack of time spent on the trails the past year I am sure contributed to this. Once I get up a bike park I'll post up a ride report on some big stuff. Hopefully bust the GoPro out.
