this will make me seem like a genius.
(You must do this with fresh grips, not stretched out ones)
put about 8 zipties in you grip so they line it.
work the grip on (the plastic from the zipties should make it slide easy)
once the grip is on pull out the zipties (you might need pliers)
Its that easy

leave the side with the box thing on the zipties out of the grip pointing towards you stem. the should remain outside the grip.

^^ The best idea if you do not have access to an aircompressor

I actually do have access to an air compressor. The air compressor works fine at first but because it stretches your grips they twist and slide. ziptie method might take longer but it is more effective

stick air compressor in the holes in the sides of the grips and twist it on. do this after cleaning out everything that was in there including any water or residue. works like a charm.Wink

Run the grips under some hot water/soak them for about a minute. They expand and then tighten up as they cool off

Commpressed air under the grip while putting it on works wonders to get them on and off ,or ask your local shop they'll do it for free

WD40 on the inside of the grip, slide it on (super easy), and as it is absorbed into the grip the petroleum base causes the rubber to expand and once it's dried, they wont move again unless you stick a screwgie underneath it. That's how we do it at our shop. The one and only reason we have WD40 lying around.
