I ve been thinking .. for a wooden structures, what is the best material to land on? or jump off?

Not really, they both feel the same if you land right. Dirt is better if you mess up though.

All depends on what you have more access to. Wood you'd have to cut up pieces to make the tranney, dirt you'd have to build a frame for the landing and then pack it in heavily.

yeah wood is easier to build with. if you have lots of dirt where u plan to build i suggest using dirt. but wood will work fine
