Swapping an XLoc sprint for an XLoc full sprint

I have a trek top fuel 9.8 and I am thinking about swapping out the SID for for an RS-1. However the RS-1 fork only seems to come with the XLoc sprint (single lockout for hardtail). I already have an XLoc full sprint (dual lock out for full sus bikes). So has anyone ever switched out remotes? I can't find any info on this.
