The problem that tapered solved relative to full 1.5 was letting everybody continue to use their schweet 1.125" stems. A very worthy objective IMO.

Idk, I had a pretty schweet 1.5 Thomson that I kind of miss. I think bringing my happyness with that stem back is pretty worthy.

Apart of lack of stems, I have no issue with a 1.5" steerer, but I have no complain with my set up
