That's definitely a slope setup, with a rigid post and that derailleur/cassette ratio. That said it would probably rip flow trails.

Things were fine before those lame ejector posts and the excessive gearing came along. It's a small chainring, and must be a narrow-wide, so just put the seat up a bit and she's ready to go. Slope.. 26".

dropper or no dropper really makes no difference to me, I rarely use mine to be honest maybe 2-3 times a ride on my fs, but got rid of the dropper on my hardtail years ago and feel fine without it.

Climbing isn't an issue when you're not attached to the seat.

I run a 11-25t cassette, with a 38t chainring on mine and we do it all.
