So i'm planning a getting a freeride bike.I'm looking to spend under $3500(CDN). I'm 6 3" and i'm 170 lbs. i want something that i could use for some dh, about 25 percent of my riding will be that and 50% will be freeride. The other 25 will be other shit. The weight of the bike is not too important but i still want something reasonable. I probably wanna get something new(not necessarily 08 )

I've been thinking about getting the bottle rocket but i've heard that the suspension is kinda shitty... so i'm not to sure.

i also want a single crown and not more then 6.5 in the back or front. i'm not going full out either( not doing 25 footers) so something for like intermediate freeriding.

The Specialized demo 7 Fits exactly that, and the price too, Demo 7 is a 7" back travel bike with awsome components and great flow. I'm looking into one myself

those are my suggestions the bottle rocket probly wont be so good for dh as it is a slopestyle bike

you may want to take a look at a specialized sx trail.

a Norco Shore(1,2 or 3) would be perfict for toy... you can adjust the rear suspention from 6.5 to 7.8, and the front has 7.6 of travel and they ride like a dream
