Nothing whatsoever wrong with an older model machine that still performs up to par that is FUN to ride!
Boy would some ppl freak out (good *and* bad) about my 2004 SX/4X brushed Ti rig. Gotta get some recent pics of it since last new build up.
Oh believe me, I know. I haven't ridden a bike that's more fun than my sx. It's the 09 dual slalom frame, and I frickin use it for everything. Hell, I want an enduro sx just to have another sx.

And I like the orange/black ..but are those giant wheels?!

Yep they came off a 2015 Giant Trance with only 6 rides on them. Found on craigslist for $80 with DT swiss 350 rear hub and a Giant branded Formula front hub. Just stumbled upon them and they happened to be the correct front and rear axle sizes along with being 6 bolt. Set em up tubeless too

The 350 is worth that alone. Nice find.

KILLER score! That hub alone retails for over $200 I believe and the DT Swiss 350 and 240 hub lines are among some of the best and longest-lasting and easily service hubs on the market! I run them exclusively on all of my bikes(3-350 and 1-240s hubsets) so that the cassette drivers all interchange among different wheelsets. If you get a chance to score a set of the 54 Tooth ratchet rings then jump on them because they are quick to grab and have 6.67° of engagement. Damn close to that of a Chris King.

I have 36t in my 240s and 54t in my 180s. Love the engagement. DT is the way.

Can you please elaborate on that rear linkage on your SX? I wanna run a vivid air on mine as well but don't want to hack things up to do it. Im thinking about getting the bike yoke linkage. How does it ride with the vjivid air? ive heard mixed reviews about running air shocks on the SX's. Thanks. Sweet bike BTW

Check out a company called Bike Yoke. They make a yoke for the sx trail so it can run an air shock. You can also order them through X Fusion in the states.

Hows the fitment with the ccdb? Did you have to modify anything? Bike looks nice!

I just had to buy a new yoke, but the db fit fine with the new one.

Can anyone tell me what tune to get if I'm putting a Vivid Air on my 2012 SXT? I see both M/M and M/L and it seems that most are saying to go M/L. But then I've seen some say that the M/M works better for 210lb ish riders on other bikes. I'm a 210 lb rider and am curious if anyone else has figured out the Vivid Air to SXT formula.

Thanks in advance!!
