I had the year before SX that he has and I think I got down to 30.5 with it. Just saying.
I also had one and it was built at 37lbs. Stock parts plus Totem fork ect.. Building it down to 32lbs would have felt much lighter and 30.5 lighter still. Just saying if he feels 32lbs is light for what it is props to him.

Joe,..just weighed my '04 SX/4X and she's @ 30.1!!! Last time on the scale was almoist 33!!
Maxxis IKON (also have Ardent Race pair) tires,.light platforms, and different bar/stem combo brought her down I guess!

Mine weighs well over 40 lbs. Somehow my Kona Process is a lot sturdier at 10 lbs lighter.

Was more just saying that for as old of a bike as it is, 32 pounds is pretty light. I still have the old heavy fox 36 and some heavy ass wheels. When you consider a 2017 650b Enduro weighs in around 32 pounds I'd say that is not bad for a bike from 2009...

Heard that, Specialized had things pretty well dialed in 09. I bought the Kona because the geometry is effectively identical to the SX. It's like a 27.5 SX Trail....without FSR, lol.

Goddammit, I want to ride my SX again now.

My 180s are on ex471 rims and I can't remember what dt spokes, but they're light and have been pretty damn stout. I also have 240s with fr600 as a spare set.
