Thanks guys. Forks swapped to 27.5, still need to lower a bit more. In the pic the pressure is just low so i could set them to the height i want them at. Threw on seat and rear brake. Few more things needed

Better pics when the sun comes back out
Bit of a tank by 4X standards but, still race'a'ble I reckon

Cheers guys but, I've sold the frame now to pay for the bolt. Just wanted to compare geos before I got the bolt.

I don't ride or race 4X but I've owned quite a few "play bikes" over the years. I keep coming back to slalom/4X bikes because they're so damn fun.

My current project is a full Blur 4X rebuild with X01DH/GX DH, SRAM 900 hubs on Flow rims, Level TLM brakes, Ikon Race tires, and Kashima Fox all around.

Here's the fork for it:

Frame is off getting painted and decal'd at the moment. Will post more when it comes back.

Ok it’s:
A crap pic
Not a dedicated 4x

but i’m happy enough with the result so far as a daily rider/occasional racer HT

I think it looks fun.

Interestingly, one of the most fun bikes I've ever owned was a Mongoose slalom bike. Weird team parts build. Steep head angle, super twitchy.

We had a mongoose nugget in our shop and my manager sold it to a buddy for silly cheap without offering it up to us shop guys... His buddy traded it off for weed money 6 months later and I was never able to track it back down.. So bummed I miss out on it.
