I'm discovering that my new "pump bike" build is looking more and more like a 4X bike build. Two brakes, gears, 100mm XC fork, through axle rear hub... a build which I'm ok with, but it's interesting to me that I kind of always go back to wanting a 4X bike even though I'll likely never ride a slalom or mountaincross course in my life. I guess I just like the way the bikes are set up.
Love the black frame! I'm in the fence about either totally stripping the clear coat and red decals off mine and staying raw, or getting it painted or powder coated.
I need to join the party and get some builds done. For the SX owner above I don't think you could go wrong whichever way you go as the stock paintjob/decals are not it

I actually really liked the stock paintjob for the most recent SX Supercross.
It’s not a bad look at all. I just really wanted the stealth look on mine! The black frame is anodized with some kind of baked on graphics, not sure what they are exactly. I just carefully removed mine with a little paint stripper and a cloth.
