Hey! I just moved to kelowna and I'm just starting at UBCO this semester. What are some good trails you guys would recommend?

Smith Creek in west kelowna
Knox is good for a quick rip
Crawford is good, especially connector
And Rose Valley is alright if you like more XC it has alot of ups and downs

Save yourself the hassle, drive to Vernon.
Ride the best, see what the hypes all about.

Depends what you like to ride???? Do you want to pedal to the top? Shuttle? XC, DH?

Kelowna has lots of different flavors and options.

Is a favorite of most riders.

Shale trail and Simpson on knox are great for shorter laps.

Has lots of cool trails if you are willing to pedal to the top.

That's why I shuttle.

Still ride a DH bike, still ride 26", still listen to grunge and 90's east and west coast rap, still prefer to ride trails made of rock and wood, not dirt.

Rock and wood, both eventually turn into dirt, and is what Dirt is composed of. So you ride dirt bro... Put that in your Grunge discman on repeat bud.

It was a Hill climb race I started at Postill while drinking... And before I endo'd I was doing sick.

XB redeemed himself 5 years later by climbing the hill to top at bottom of Baconator without crashing. The second glorious Hill climb cancelled out the first.

Everyone who tried it made it first or second try except xb. We used to host these rad traildays at postil, it was the first time a vernonite attended and well he really didnt rep his hood to the fullest.

Weren't you riding an old blue glory? Maybe your mojo got stuck in the glory hole that day, sh1t happens, still funny as hell though!

I think all of us have great memories of XB crashing. My favourite is the frisbee ridge crash.

Got concussed on that crash too, one of too many. Chick tried to keep up to XB , woodn't be having any of that so XB laid some power down to sho a ho who's boss... 5 or 6 switchbacks later XB's on his face.... But I will have you know it was a good minute or two before the chick rode by. Put a solid pace on her... But she won the war as she got to the truck first, and XB wasn't 100% sure where he was so he was riding reserved the rest of the ride

Ya it was the old Glory...

There's some correlation here... Booze and broads don't mix well with XB, nor do bikes really 4 that matter. That pretty much solves it sticking to the BBQ where it's safe.

XB will back on a 29er and all will be good... just like Sam Hill when he switched.
