i was totting up what ive spent on my bike and its working out near £450 (900 cad/us i guess). i thought that was alot considering its a norco 125 with mavic rims hopw hubs and high end parts which i got all good deals on.

how much monwey have you lot spent on your bikes stock or custom??

Current amount of money spent is about $3100 on my currently specced main bike, that doesn't include the price of all the parts that I've taken of of it and replaced, or the work.
If I included all that - we'd be looking at $4000 probably - but I'll probably make a good portion of that extra back by selling some the old bits.

Than I got a few other bikes.


Edit: Total over all the years...? $7 grand.. probably more.

I really dont think it matters how expensive your bike is . Its the person thats sitting on it thats the main thing.And as long as you enjoy yourself riding your bike is the most important.

This thread is pooo cause you will get people saying yeah mine is better than yours and not realising the main thing.It helps to have a nice , expensive bike but so what.

Keep shreddin whatever you ride.

norco wolverine: $800 new
upgrades: $230
Norco Atomic: $2000 new
upgrades: $170
Haro escape 8.3: $900 custom
upgrades: $400
so: 800 + 230 = 1130 + 2000 = 3130 + 170 = 3300 + 900 = 4200 + 400 = 4600
total: $4600!!! completely paid for by me Smile

Selling all the shit parts off my new bike - £900
hardtail - £500ish
bmx - £330 (when its finished)
biking gear and replacement broken parts and lift passes etc etc £1600

total - £5000 give or take

Actually thats not as bad as I thought for 4 years.

Better than smoking or injecting all your money away
