Yes it's beefy, and it's awesome. Though, I'm pushing 255-260 pounds when I ride with my son.

Ah gotcha. Guess a DPX2 could work then, or DHX2 if you wanted to go the coil route.

I can report that a rockshox super deluxe coil ultimate also fits the fuel. BUT only the alu versions not the carbon frames.
