So ive got a 2019 fuel ex8. Trying to loosen the main pivot (right above bb) to diagnose some nasty creaking, but dont know if the non drive side bolt should be turned clockwise, or counter clockwise to loosen...

Edit: its indeed counter clockwise

Anyone run a reverse components headset spacer crown race on their 2019 fex? Does the fork still contact the downtube?

My 33lb Fuel EX 8 2020 model. Only thing left to change would be the tyres, but that's for the next season!

You managed to install a X2! Any issues during compressions?
Can you still fit a water bottle?

I was leaning towards upgrading the the new Fuel X, but X2 would be much more fun to have.

Yes, it works flawlessly! AFAIK it will fit any Alu 2020+ model size M and larger (mine is an M and clears the seattube by 2-3mm) with no issues with compression so far!
I'm actually about to find out next week, but so far I have no clue, but it looks like I can!

You should if you can imo, well worth the upgrade from the original!

It will only fit aluminum frames.

Carbon frames the air can contacts the seat tube.

Also; It does fit a water bottle! Although just, with some modifications to the screw holes on the cage, the piggy-back clears the bottle by around 2mm!
