bought my 1st full suspension 2 weeks ago a Kona precept 150 i absolutely love this bike but dont see much about them anywhere wondered if any1 else on here rides 1 & what your thoughts where?
Not many have them yet since they just came out, but it essentially has the same Geo as the process 153, with a little bit less robust construction (not that it is not robust, just less so than a process) and a different shock layout, but they should ride similarly.
I have a precept 200, and if the 150 rides anything like my 200, it's a great bike, and punches well above it's price point.
The 2016 precept 150 is very under estimated and gets left in the dark because the process 153 is in the spotlight. Compared to the 2015 precept the 2016 is a whole new bike, better geometry, shifters, bigger better brakes, dropper post, monarch rear shock u can set to climb and the list goes on. The ride is phenomenal, I test rode the 2015 and ordered the 2016 and the 2016 is just nuts- well and truly exceeded any expectations and punches way above its weight as Buggyr333 mentioned aswell.
Hey Atherton13, what size did u end up getting? im 5'9'' and i got the large in the 2016 model. different geometry to 2015 bigtime!!!!! i was a med in trek on my fuel but trek have long stems.

I'm looking at the precept 120 from what I can see it's basically the same frame with not as nice features as the 150 (fork, suspension, brakes, etc.) thinking of building it up over time. Have you rhad any experience with the 120?
