Good morrow. I've got black Santa Cruz Bronson CC v2 2016 size-L frame and I'm wondering what's the biggest tyre one could put in it on a 29-mm-inner-width rim. The issue is not only about the width of the tyre, but also about the height of its balloon. The manufacturer says it's 2.5", but I'm sure something bigger would fit too. I'm also up to a bigger tyre on the front. I've got the Pike in a non-Boost version and for a 27.5" wheel and I'd like to know what's the widest tyre I could put there, also on a 29-mm-inner-width. I have a 2014 Bronson C that I run Maxxis High Roller 2's that are 2.4" with plenty of room to spare. The inner width of the rim is 30mm.
