Does anyone know when the 2017 Spartan will be released? Will it be the same as a 2016 just colour change? Or should I buy a 2016 now.

Well 2016 large alloy Spartans are sold out. Good news is 2017's are in the warehouse ready to ship. They should be in the store in a few weeks. The new colourways are good as well black on black or team Devinci colours red and orange. So now I guess I am playing the waiting game

when i called devinci they said that one set of carbons are availabley, others will come soon.

The spec is also slightly different. Raceface/Easton Arc30 rims, FSA dropper post, Schwalbe Hans Dampf tires (with the good casing). Price went up a little too ($4999 msrp for the RS build). Perhaps upped manufacturing cost, or maybe just a bit of a premium for having a 2017 bike in July of 2016?

I'll take a pic in an hour or so when I go riding. It's all bundled up in the back of my car right now. I went matte black.

Names have change, teh "RS" kit is now the "GX" kit. they should be arriving at dealers any day now. I juts built our first 2017 devinci yesterday!

Heres the black colorway.

I wouldn't consider that a small price increase for the low end carbon. 2016 RS (now GX) MSRP was $3999. $1000 is a big jump. Did the middle or upper builds increase that much?
