For me the difference in price was worth it, the V4 is without doubt the most capable bike I've ever owned. I have the 2016 Marzocchi 350 NCR and 053 S3C2R rear shock, I'm very impressed with the suspension set up, I've not had any issues with the bike blowing through it's travel that some people with Rockshox have suffered. However, I don't think that is an option this year.

The 350r is a coil spring fork, the ncr has the DBC damper and is air sprung, so yeah, totally different.
