Not sure if NSD are shutting up shop or what, but they've got some pretty amazing deals on DVO and others right now if you're in Oceania.

Does anybody run something different from recommended 2.5w oil in their Jade shock?

I have comfortable sag and no bottom-out issues, but want to achieve more mid-stroke support.
Current setup:
450 spring
Preload - 2 turns
Rebound - 14 click from closed
LSC - 3.5 turns
HSC - 15 click

HSC seems to be spot on and increasing LSC even further negatively affects small bump performance.
.
I run regular 2.5w oil and wonder if I could try 5w or greater viscosity?

Thicker oil is going to effect the whole stroke, same as dialling in more high or low speed compression.

Fm that is goooooorgeous!

Someone tell me why long travel forks require air release valves

Is it only if you’re on long descents afterwards or just a build up of air in chambers over time???

A little of both it helps equalize the pressure built up in the lowers and just helps keep the fork consistant and buttery smooth like Kim Kardashian's ass after a hot shower.
