Know someone who used a similar kit on a transition bottlerocket. Apparently was great, until he ovalised his down tube with the torque.

Very soon, the brake caliper will be mounted atop of the rim, and the pad will bite directly on a brake track along the side of the rim.
Then we will have gone full circle.

Not far off the radial discs found on Buell motorbikes.

Disc attached to the rim and caliper mounted upside down on the forks.

Just spent 10 minutes looking for that exact image. Well played.

Not sure how much better that would be than a HS33 tbh.
Very cool though.

A disc brake from 2001? Would have been nowhere near as good as a 33. I still run HS's for trials today, as unless you fancy spending a fortune on a set of Saint's or MT7's you still can't beat them.

Ah, HS33 and trials, I hope you used the compulsory angle grinder trick on the brake track.

And Coke on the rims

Ground and tarred rims are still par for the course!

Coke on rims was definitely more of a broke kid on a bmx hack though.

You need some Trickstuff Maxima's.
Because nothing would say "more money than sense" than a 1300 quid brakeset on a trials bike.
