Figured someone may have seen something like this before, so I’m asking here!
I swap my hardtail between a Kickr trainer and the trails. But I actually use the trainer at my desk, so I have a brooks saddle designed for 90° upright position so my tailbone doesn’t break off.
It’s such a pain to swap saddles all the time, and I was wondering if anyone has ever seen a quick-release system for a saddle (at the rails, since I want to use my dropper, I don’t want another seatpost.)
What does your seatpost clamping interface look like? I wonder if you could reuse a cam from a skewer, and if that would generate enough movement and torque as needed.

Not a bad idea, maybe I could fabricate something so it would at least let me release the seat rails quicker than with a hex key.
In a perfect world, there would be an interface between the seatpost and the rail clamps, allowing me to retain the exact saddle position, but just swap it between the two saddles.

I believe he asking for a fast way to change seats not the whole post.....With dropper posts it's not easy to just pop one out and put in a different one.
Although it would be a good reason to buy and AXS dropper.

Ah yes haha, appreciate it, but I’m looking for a QR at the seat rails, not the seatpost clamp.
