Hi,

So just wondered has anyone used the stans crest mk3 29er rim and how did you find it?
Im thinking of using one for the front wheel with the sapim Dlight spokes for the disc side and sapim super spoke for the no load side what does everyone think?

I highly doubt you'll get any noticeable benefit out of using two different lightweight spokes in the same wheel, but if it makes you feel better, why not? Won't hurt anything except maybe your wallet.

I havent tried the Crest MK3 yet but am really happy with the Flow MK3 on my trail bike great profile extremely easy to set the bead and stays locked in. I will end up with the Crest MK3 or Arch MK3 for my XC bike soon. As for spokes I have always been very happy with DT Swiss Competition whatever you end up on I would stick to one type of spoke per wheel.
