I'm just hoping I can work something out with Fox so that they send me the Coil X2 instead of replacing my Air X2!
I was considering this as well, but I don't know how well the DHX2 would work with my Insurgent
Now that you say that, I don't know how well it would work with my Sanction either. But there's nothing wrong with bottoming out (softly) a couple of times each ride

I bottom a bunch with the X2 full of volume spacers so Im not sure
Nothing concerning the recall no, and no info from Fox germany either.
The help center for the Float X2 on the USA website has been updated, with a maximum pressure of 250psi and max number of volume spacers for metric shocks.
According to someone who spoke with Fox Switzerland:
- They will replace the outer air can with a stronger one - The air can will have a 250psi max sticker as well as a screw to prevent it from being misaligned
Filled out the form and just says go to your local bike shop for assistance... Even though I bought the shock online.
I also bought mine online. But it doesn't matter. If you are near a bike shop, go through the shop and fox will send the repair kit to the shop regardless of where you bought it. I called Fox and they told me they just didn't want to ship to personal addresses if it can be avoided.

I am also in this boat. Would be keen to see what you find out grumf, being from Scotland. Ive just emailed Flotech up in Dunkeld to see if they are involved being a suspension specialist and affiliated with Fox in some ways. Waiting for a response.

How about the if you bought your shock second hand?
I havnt actually been asked to produce any proof i bought mine, all it asked for was when i bought it,(can make that up) where you bought it(again tell a lie) and asked for serial number, then said it was due for return, unless they know by the serial number kinda like the Imei number on a mobile phone
