Just fitted my progressive link

Was £150

Didn’t change my sag at all

Bouncing around it feels more supportive but not as much of a difference as I imagined

My old carbon link weighed 527g
New progressive link weighs 732g

I’m 78kg and with a 480lbs spring I get about 23% sag might up a spring weight but will have to try this out first

hey guys!
Hitting coast gravity park next weekend and I just want to make sure that my new carbon frame is protected as good as possible haha

here are two pictures of each side how I have protected it so far

it actually works if you click on the "image"

Additionally I have put one a protection foil on the lower down tube of the frame. Protection foil is also installed on the yoke where gear and brake cable run along.

any other suggestions?

you will find out where things rub after a ride or two then address it as required. Good part about these bikes with 135mm rear end is you dont really clip the chainstays with your feet like other bikes.

I don’t think Fox sells Super Light Steel springs in that heavy of a weight. You’ll need a regular steel spring. They’re cheaper, but not orange.

Yep they don’t go that high unfortunately. Can creek Valt springs go to 650. You can go back and forward with a spring clip adapter thingy.
