M frame for you, otherwise you won't reach the handlebars.

Hmm how i am not going to reach the handlebars ? I was riding YT Tues M size 435 reach . And the demo L is 440 reach? Or there is something else ?

lol yeah you'd be fine on a L or M. The demos run short anyway.

From the seat to the BB, demo is short. From the Seat to the handle bars on L frame your arms will be locked out.
Also because your a shorter rider, you probably weigh less so the medium size frame setup make's more sense. Book

The reach is also short. My medium sized trail bike has a longer reach than my large demo does. He’s be fine with a reach 5mm longer than what he currently rides. But he should definitely find one and spin it around to be sure.

Also. It’s a downhill bike. No one is concerned with the length of seat to BB. We cram it all the way down anyway.

Beer Which is why i mentioned body weight as well. i don't think he would be happy with 450lb and medium fork spring.
lol But it seem's it has already been decided.

Lol. Plus it wouldn’t be the best choice of action to chose a size too small for you just to get a light sprung coil. Would rather get the right bike and pay $40 for a new coil.

Or a 40 grip 2 for the win. Love my grip 2.

I'm 5'8" 190lbs on a L and I think the M would've been a more fun choice - I'm not saying that going L was the wrong choice because the bike fits me perfectly but if I opted for the M it would have been just that more playful. You can also adjust the reach to fit you better with spacers or a short/longer stem.

Beer As usual phuley know's what's up.

I chose L frame as well. My thought process was like mentioned. Shorten the seatpost and potentially have the correct coils ready for the style of riding i wanted to do with a larger wheel base for more stability.

But overtime it does feel a bit on the big side and after losing some weight the firm springs feel.. well firmer Eek

I agree with phuley in that for the most part you get used to it and actually when your riding nothing really feels bad. You can reach the grips, suspension does work providing your working it enough. And when you use the pedals you move Eek

But i still think L is a bit too much if your in the 150-180cm height range. As well as the average rider weight for that height.

Can you ride an L frame.. YES Eek Should you get the M frame if that's an option instead.. YES Eek

I believe they go in the link that drives the shock, at the bottom of the shock mount. The old link that is, not sure about the progressive link.

Very confused Something like this ? No clue what order the washer/spacer's go in tho. Also there's no axle's or bolt's shown.

Ride a XL Frame with 220lbs currently but loosing weak for weak so it will end at 198lbs. Currently on a 600 spring but have a 550 spring at home. Will see how i ride with the progression link.

Height is 6.1 and it feels just perfekt with 35mm riser bar and 45mm stem lenght...and I mean PERFEKT! For everything you can do on DH tracks and Bikepark days!

Does anyone have the exact bushing dimensions including bearings for an Öhlints TTX for the Specialized Demo 8 Carbon 2015-2018? 22,2mm both sides correct? And the bearing size? Eye width is 12mm, outer diameter 16mm and inner diameter 14mm or? For a 8mm screw?
